Pros

Great coworkers. Good health benefits package.

Cons

Management is just a bunch of people that have been there for awhile. They are promoted based off friendships or seniority not by capability.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a very detailed review of management and clean house on the people that are there just because they were there in the beginning.

I have been working at Bluehost full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good starting salary, laid back culture for the most part. Excellent position to learn and prepare for other technically related endeavors

    Cons

Very unfocused, horrible communication, very slow to react or adapt. Supervisors and managers in general are very obviously lacking in any real experience in their given positions, which reflects poorly on everyone as a result.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More information than needed is in all cases better than less information than needed. Focus on strengthening the communication between supervisors and subordinates and between departments, and include employees in the decision making process. Communicate current issues in the company, and ask for feedback. Grant employees more access to information regarding company plans, goals, and perceived shortcomings and encourage dialogue.

    No opinion of CEO
