Pros
Some managers are great and make work a good experience. There are not a whole lot of positive aspects, benefits are decent, pay sucks.
Cons
Unclear expectations from employees. Managers will contradict previously stated expectations from the company, other managers or even themselves. No real investment into the employees
Advice to Senior Management
Don't overly micromanage, stewardship delegation will allow more synergistic and creative solutions to problems. Train managers to PROactively address problems, not AFTER they happen!
