Approves of CEO

I worked at Boeing as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

I got to do real work in my field as an intern. I also made really great money, and all of my coworkers were really intelligent, knowledgable, and more than willing to explain things.

Cons

My supervisor was not so great. I didn't trust that he had my best interests at heart.

Advice to Management

Be honest and treat people with respect.

I worked at Boeing as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Huge company which allows for horizontal/vertical movement to any group Easy to meet people from other groups/functions

    Cons

Huge company makes it hard to stand out Work environment/atmosphere can be dull depending on work location Very slow-moving company Boeing is an engineering company, so it focuses on that aspect and employees in engineering-related functions Experience in one group can be completely different from group-to-group

    Advice to Management

Do something unique for the interns. There aren't many intern-wide events, so it can be up to senior managers within each group to bring all the interns within his/her group together. Make business employees feel as needed as much as engineering employees
