Pros
- Great Benefits (education, retirement)
- Interesting and challenging work
- Can be rewarding if you are willing to switch jobs every few years
Cons
- You are part of one gigantic machine
- The executives are part of a different caste
- It is easy to get stuck in the same role at the same level, whether or not you are considered a good performer
Advice to Senior Management
Focus on the people - try to converse with them every once in a while
Stop acting like you are "above" everyone else
Advertise the executive jobs, just like you would any other jobs -- PUBLICLY
