I have been working at Bon-Ton Stores part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

It's an all around very easy job. Once you work there long enough, you get in the hang of things, and you really have a good time. You never work too long of a shift, and the break times are decent.

    Cons

The sale ads suck, especially in the Home Department. The managers talk down to you like you are five years old, and the customers always get their way, even if what they want is to the extreme. The coupons have too many exclusions, and the customers never have enough time to use their coupons before the sale is changing again. The amount of store credit cards we have to open is ridiculous, and nobody wants to buy them once you tell them the interest rate. I would never recommend this job to anyone!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to be professionals, and start listening more to what your employees are telling you. We would appreciate if we were talked to like adults, and not little children.
