I worked at Bon-Ton Stores part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You get customer service experience, in person and over the phone. Learn a lot about bridal registries.

    Cons

Not much room to advance, and get very little respect from management. In fact, if you don't make friends with other associates you won't learn how to do anything involving warehouse orders, product look up, or bridal registries

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bon-Ton Stores full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Employee discount and sample sales

    Cons

Long hours, unhappy/unfriendly people. Very old building, outdated offices, very dated computers and systems

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't recruit people for your training program for one thing and them force them into a position they don't want
