I worked at Borders full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Working with Books. Shelving books is easy as hell. Most of the people you meet are very nice. Good job overall

    Cons

BORDER REWARDS PLUS PROGRAM. Worst program of all time. No one wants it. It doesn't save you any money. Huge rip-off and that was there only focus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They are out of business now, but take a lesson Barnes N Noble, Books-A-Million, etc. A little card isn't for the book business. Small independent bookstores have proved that.
