I worked at Borders full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Working with diverse but similarly motivated people. Lots of opportunity for 'client facing'. Good variety throughout each day. Long-term opportunities to develop specialist skills.

Cons

Low pay for the level of specialist knowledge required. Occasionally required to work unsociable or irregular hours.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a vision for the future, rather than fixate on maintaining the status quo. Think about what tomorrow's customers would like and be ahead of them in getting there.
