I have been working at Boston Consulting Group

    Pros

    - World class training and business exposure
    - MBA full sponsorship
    - Friendly work culture
    - Opportunity for travel and global transfer
    - Awesome exit opportunities and assistance

    Cons

    - Unpredictable hours
    - Travel often four days a week away from home
    - Poor work/life balance
    - Feedback can be negative oriented
    - High attrition rate for female staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There needs to be a greater focus on retaining women and family oriented employees. We know this is hard in consulting, and client expectations can be hard to manage, but the future success of the company depends on retaining high quality staff.

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group

    Pros

Good brand and great learning experience. You get to see a lot very quickly and get to have a lot of exposure to companies, people, executive.

    Cons

Promise of helping you when you depart is a joke. This is about them making themselves feel better so go in with eyes wide open that they will actually do somethin for you.
