    Pros

+ The people are amazing - lots of unique backgrounds and interesting PhDs
+ The learning is fast-paced - new Learning at BCG (LAB) is full of amazing training
+ Career guidance - always transparent, career development lets you know where you are at all times
+ Office culture - everyone is always back on Fridays. Lots of dinners and outings.
+ PTO makes the hours more manageable and predictable, makes it a lot more liveable

    Cons

    - Work hours can be long, but this is highly variable from project to project.
    - Learning curve is steep. If you're not quick at picking things up you're going to have a rough time

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, it's amazing how fast the company is growing

Long hours, low predictability, and internal politics outweighed positive aspects

    Pros

    -Intelligent coworkers
    - Ample compensation
    - Great health benefits
    - Career opportunities and experiences for some
    - More exposure and autonomy than many jobs will afford you
    - Invaluable connections

    Cons

    - Can't have much of a life outside of work b/c long hours are compounded by unpredictable work schedules and travel
    - The politics of the staffing system in Dallas prioritizes alliances and perception as much as, if not more than, actual work product
    - Relatedly, widely variant outcomes for quality of case experience depending on the individual; not everyone is given an equal chance to succeed, and individual fate can be based on subjective factors
    - Women are disadvantaged both because of the low numbers of women in the South and bc of the presiding culture in the Dallas office

    Advice to Management

    - Give greater focus to sustainable careers and development, less to billable hours and sheer dollars and cents; the ROI will be greater in the long term
    - Change the staffing model to be more in line with Northern offices (i.e. free market system)
