I worked at Boston Market

Pros

I built a family there, flexible hours, good first job(prepares you), support on time off that is needed, and 50% off food.

Cons

Never trained, unprofessional management, clear favoritism, the pay isn't worth the stress of the job, hours were randomly cut from all employees, and it was simply hectic, and very rude customers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your employees, recognize a job well done by an employee, have some regularity in schedualing.

    Pros

    Great Managers
    Great Managers
    Fun Co-Workers
    Various Locations
    Relatively Simple Work
Food discount is quite fair compared to some fast food chains.

    Cons

    No advancement.
    Politics dictate promotion.
No raises for management or hourly employees.
Hours were cut on a weekly basis.
Some employees were hired then fired then hired again then fired. Female management needs to quit being intimidated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stand up for yourselves and your employees and demand changes in compensation and promotion based on merit, not whimsy. Stop rehiring lazy, incompetent employees and give what little hours are left to good workers, The hiring of an outsider and former military member was the best thing that ever happened to the West Allis Location :)
