Good Place for a postdoc

Research Associate (Current Employee)
Boston, MA

ProsMembers of some faculties are very good researcher in their field so you can work in reputable labs.

Average compensation but good health care package including vision and dental. You can use the facilities of Boston Medical Center.

Tuition remission is available for yourself or the family of the employee

If you are international, they can apply J1/H1 visa for oyu. Pretty effective International SCholar Office.

Very good location.

ConsResearch Associates are supported by the grants so it's a contractual job. You have to write your own grants to work here continuously otherwise it's a short-term (1-3 years) position.

Parking is very expensive, commuting on green line can be dreadful.

Advice to Senior ManagementBecause they are neither faculty nor student, a department of office helping particularly postdoctoral scholars would help solving the issues that are facing.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
