Nice work atmosphere. More lenient performance measurements

Older ideas prevail
You can feel the pressure increase across board as the state continues to squeeze funds
Unpredictable job security

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise the standards of entry into the programs to eventually improve the quality of students admitted and thereby improve the brand of the school

    Pros

    Colleagial atmosphere; safe college town environment; near Toledo where there is a great art museum and zoo; Div. I athletics programs and sports clubs for students, among other academic and social organizations.

    Cons

    Pay and benefits are second lowest in comparison to other state public institutions of higher education. Somewhat adversarial attitude of the administration with the faculty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more pro academics and supportive of faculty. Be more transparent and less adversarial.
