I have been working at Boy Scouts of America part-time (more than an year)

Pros

This is a great opportunity to work with children of all ages and backgrounds. Also the Boy Scouts will expose you to a variety of fields and the people who work in those fields. Great area for networking!

Cons

The main con is that the pay is not the greatest. Also the work can be difficult and stressful, for you will be dealing withe elementry school kids up to CEO's of major companies.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire people who are familiar with your programs. It usually works out for the betterment of all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Calm it on down. Employees do have lives outside of their work, you cannot expect us to be "Scouting" 110% of the time.
