I worked at Boys Town full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I enjoyed my boss. Had great relationships with youth.

    Cons

Not traditional corporate culture. Everything is based on friends rather than your actual qualifications. No breaks during 10hr shifts. Work duties are unrealistic and always understaffed. Working with kids with severe behavioral and mental heath issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Support and Provide incentives for employees to stay motivated. HIre enough staff to handle worker to child ratio so that all the work load isnt placed on one or two staff, when their should actually be 4 staff working.
