Long hours, low pay, but the kids can make it worth it.

I worked at Boys & Girls Clubs

ProsYou get to work with underprivileged children and feel like you are making a difference.
You can move from part-time to full time if you make an effort and express interest;

ConsVery low pay (it is a non-profit company).
Very hard to get time off (no paid vacation for first year).

Advice to Senior ManagementPay a little more and invest in part time staff in order to retain staff and eliminate quick turnover. Hire more staff to work full time.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
