Pros

Having a positive effect on the lives of children. Independence while working. Knowing I was making a difference.

Cons

Mixed messages from different upper level staff. Difficulty communicating with management to create positive structural changes.

    Pros

    Pay is decent for part-time, great job for college students as it is usually 3PM-8PM, and the work is overall easy

    Cons

    The kids are usually low- income :(, no upward mobility

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give your part timers holiday pay, with an already low salary, you have to save the whole year to compensate for the loss of time during the holiday season.
