I have been working at Breg

Pros

- The company culture and the people.
- Great teamwork & accountability from all team members
- Great products & awesome customer support

Cons

- In some cases too much emphasis on the minimum cost of production and parts
- Changing priorities and too many urgent and critical tasks going on at the same time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

- Be more proactive and become the market leader once again! Right now Breg is a follower and has lost its leadership drive and position!

I worked at Breg full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

decent time off policy, was easy to work with when bereavement leave was needed. There were some great people there early on. Sadly, all of them were weeded out or run off.

    Cons

They like to spout the core values and their retention policy but both are way overblown. The previous billing manager did welcome feedback and would implement helpful changes, the current one couldn't care less about employee feedback to the point of ignoring suggestions and emails completely. A dozen staff were laid off from that department alone within the year I was there, which isn't good numbers. What used to be run as quality is now being run just for quantity. And it wasn't the hard workers that were kept on. Some of the hardest working team members were the ones laid off due to outsourcing. The ones who kept quiet and were willing to suck up kept their jobs. Those who offered suggestions on improvements or would question things that didn't make sense got walking papers. Not the kind of place I'd want to stay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start looking at the producers, the hard workers and the ones who get customer and internal positive feedback. Those are the people you should be promoting, not letting walk out the door. I may be a former employee, but that doesn't make the feedback any less valid.
