I worked at Brendan Wood International

Pros

lots of quick business experience gained, young environment, lots of responsibility given right away, easy access to senior management

Cons

business model is a bit sleazy, company name on resume makes you look bad, no regard for personal life as you are expected to be on call constantly, cut throat environment with brutal commission structure, no real professional growth can be gained other than within a tiny group of people who aren't impressive

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work there unles you want to be a slave. They do not provide a salary, they do not provide benefits. The pay structure is such that you are compensated based on information you receive in the interviews conducted. At the end of the month, management makes up fictitious reasons to disqualify interviews and either deduct monies from your pay or do not pay you at all.

    Cons

The commpany does not treat employees well. They have a number of allegatiosn for human right violations, employment standards act violations and have various civil/legal lawsuits pending. In my opinion there is nothing credible about the company, its management and the work (interviews) conducted there. I have no kind sentiments about my experience there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to run a company. Learn how to manage. Purchase dictionary to learn the meaning of the words respect, honesty and integrity and start treating your employees and clients that manner.

I worked at Brendan Wood International

    Pros

Interesting field with big name clients. Young environment. Entry level staff is hardworking and nice. Learn a lot in a short period of time

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid and appreciated. Pay structure is brutal and not setup properly because it doesn't reward you fairly. One day management will like you the next they will not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to evolve and fix the compensation structure to fairly reward people. Either that or just start paying salaries so people do not feel like they are constantly getting shafted with the bonus.
