Meh

Admissions Counselor (Former Employee)
San Diego, CA

ProsGood benefits, decent wage for the area, San Diego has a higher cost of living. Very liberal LOA policy.

Cons"Managers" came from the ranks of "salespeople" on the floor. Many had poor management skills if any at all. I was embarrassed to tell people I worked for Ashford University, since it has such a bad reputation, always said I worked for Bridgepoint Education.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Bridgepoint Education full-time for less than a year

Pros: Great team of people in the graduate division. Cons: They operate a classic boiler room. Nothing but high… Advice to Senior Management: Cut out all the layers of management. It's overkill.
