I worked at Bridgestone Americas full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great people - great products!

Cons

HR is in the stone ages when aligning with work schedules - and working remote for certain jobs.

Advice to Management

Invest less in contractors - and more in employees. Employees should be performing the work, rather than instructing contractors what to do. If employees don't have the skills to perform the work - invest in them training wise - and hire people that are flexible in learning new skills. Leverage employees across divisions - have a database of employees - and their skills. Rather than hire a contractor at top dollar - find a Bridgestone employee to come perform the work - even if from another division - it's all one company - use what you have.

I worked at Bridgestone Americas full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good for those wanting to begin their career in the Automotive Industry or learn entry-level skills about the business.

    Cons

Erratic work hours, no work-life balance, high turn over of employees, everything you do there must follow a script, poor upper management. Consistently being repramanded for things that were not your fault or out of your control.

    Advice to Management

Demand everything from their employees without giving a simple thank you or proper compensation for their efforts.
