I have been working at Bridgestone Americas full-time for more than a year

Pros

Good work environment. Offers an Alternative Work Schedule.Benefits are real good..Yearly training is provided. They offer a generous tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Tends to be a very lean environment. There are several areas being outsourced. There are to many committees which tend to slow down simple process.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give equal weight to all departments. Verify the quantity vs quality in all areas.(IT)

I have been working at Bridgestone Americas full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun work, Great pay, Good growth opprotunities

    Cons

Takes time to prove yourself, but after you've established your name you are accepted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good path so far, but in capitol management i'd move more decision making away from the plants. They should be focused on operating and sustaining, and corporate engineering focusing on growth and development.

I have been working at Bridgestone Americas full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great place to work in terms of low stress, little inter-company politics. Strictly 9-5 working schedule, little need for over-time.

    Cons

Slightly lower compensation compares to rivals.
IT outsourcing is ruining the IT section of the company, the services; worst of all, very moral sapping
