It is great to start off a career, however there is not much room to grow within a short period of time

Current Employee - Account Manager in Milwaukee, WI
Current Employee - Account Manager in Milwaukee, WI

I have been working at Briggs & Stratton full-time (More than a year)

Pros

-Great benefits -Competitive salary -Full medical, dental and vision -Onsite Medical Facility ($5 Co Pay) -Potential EVA profit sharing -Bonus incentive structure

Cons

There is not much room to grow in the company. Micro managing is a problem. There is a poor management and they do not value their employees

    Pros

Started up a new plant with all of the corporate people coming in making it all sound good.

    Cons

Closed down several other plants during this time and then after only 4 years of operation closed the new one after losing contracts with some big names in the industry. They do not care about any of the people working for them unless you are in upper management from the Wisconsin area.
