I worked at Bright House Networks

Pros

Great place to work with excellent benefits

Cons

Constant shift bid changes every 3 months. Also hard to move up with the company; several jobs open up and Bright House normally hire external for better opportunities.. But great Job:)

I worked at Bright House Networks

    Pros

From a corporate stand point, this is a great company with outstanding benefits and a great product line to offer consumers. The industry that the company serves will always be in high demand.

    Cons

The management that supervises the residential sales force are yes men and extremely incompetent to lead a sales force from the sales managers to the district managers. No development structure once you have gone through corporate training which was ok!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop a new, innovative and competitive sales plan for the residential sales structure. Un-scheduled solicitation is a thing of the past and is more likely to lose a potential customer than gain one back. Recognize that the outdated infrastructure is the biggest reason you are losing customers. With residential customers, it is imperative that your services work with less issues than your competition. Record of reliable service calls should be the last accolade you use to try to secure a previous customer from the competition.

I have been working at Bright House Networks

    Pros

The benefits package is good. And the free cable and internet is great. Some of my coworkers are now good friends.

    Cons

Heavy, high pressure sales environment in the 'customer service' department. People have lost their customer service jobs due to their sales numbers, even though their is a dedicated sales department. There is never time available to take days off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change scheduling to make it fair to all employees, for example, there are enough reps so that no one should have to work both weekend days. Reevaluate the sales requirements.
