Current Employee – been working at Bright House Networks full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Once you get your foot in the door, you can move around into any number of departments. Great perks on cable/net/phone/home security. Insurance coverage is top notch and the 401k match that sticks after 5 years is hard to beat with most companies.
Cons – The typical middle management dead zone. You end up micromanaging and not being hands on with the technology anymore. Pay is ok, the benefits offset some of the lower hourly rates.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep the communication open, with such a fast paced market with changes coming all of the time, the people in the trenches need to know why they are doing what they are doing.
