I worked at Bright House Networks full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Medical insurance, free cable, vendor trinkets, 401k

    Cons

Company is concerned only with profit. A statement by area Vice-president towards pricing was "we want to charge customers as much as they are willing to pay" Their customer retention policy is we don't need them anyway. New technology is reactive and not proactive. Over the last few years their main push to customers is faster internet speed even though most older computers cannot handle the increased speed. Older employees are treated worse than the younger ones especially in outside sales. A few years ago they statred outsourcing jobs. The selling point of the service was 24 hr LOCAL service. Night customer service is handled by a Canadian company who knows nothing about the local area. Their warehousing is now done by an outside company.
