    Pros

    Great work environment, benefits and people. You can have a great lifestyle as an engineer here

    Cons

    Career growth is limited in some groups. Job satisfaction was not very high. Also salaries are going down

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You are losing a lot of talent because of politics and also because of reducing salaries which can hurt Broadcom in the long run

    I have been working at Broadcom full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Mid size company, stable operation. Plenty of diversity and internal opportunities. Good core competencies. Great facilities. Great benefits.

    Cons

    Long work hours, demanding schedules, short staffed. Potential for growth is there, but management does not seem to nurture or reward talent. Positions and work can stagnate, and there is hardly any engagement with developing career path.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more engaging with employees / engineers. Assemble cross collaborative teams. Reward success more often than yearly review. Provide more feedback and institute greater accountability and drive schedule. HIre, restaff, and train new employees. Setup channels to have experienced senior employees mentor junior or newly hired.
