I have been working at Broadridge full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Competitive salaries, bonus plans and benefits. Associates are high-quality, friendly and work well as a team.

Cons

"Work-life balance" is just a meaningless phrase to upper management. Quarterly reduction of staff for the past few years has left an environment equivalent to a sweat shop. People are expected to work 12-14 hour days, 6 days/wk "as the new norm", burnout is inevitable leading to rising employee dissatisfaction and turnover.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk your talk. Upper management needs to learn how to schedule projects and assets such that employee work-life balance and satisfaction aren't just meaningless words.

    Pros

    They try to have a nice work relaxed work environment.

    Cons

    Don't really see talent but they think they do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Think outside the box more, they didn't have to lay off people. They could have just made it bigger and better...the proxy dept that is.

    Pros

    Great company that never stops in Client Satisfaction, and has great benefits. Great Senior management that cares about its employees

    Cons

    Intimidating middle-management who could care less about there employees, lousy pay as well

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Re-think your middle management people, and its not all about skill-sets. People skills are more important sometimes.
