    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Almost all employess generally care for the Seniors, which keeps everyone's morale high. Employees are generally happy and there's a great team environment. Residents appreciate your help - very rewarding

    Cons

Employees underpaid and overworked Such a large corporation that your job often deals with beauracratic requirements, trainings, etc. If you don't have an interest in helping the elder you will not like this job.

    Advice to Management

With the merger of three different companies to make brookdale what it is today, I think it hurt company working conditions and in turn, resident conditions. My grandma lives at a comprable senior living home, however it is more locally owned compared to a major corporation and you can notice the difference for both residents and employees.
