Brookdale Senior Living Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Brookdale Senior Living full-time for more than a year

Pros – The only good thing about the community that I work at is the residence. My residence makes my day.

Cons – From Housekeeping to upper manage there is no communication. In the departamnt that I work in, new residents can come in and you can ask the nurse what the residenct name and you get asked "What resident". or I didn't know we had a resident in such and such room. They are tring to make this community skilled and do it so the state don't know. We have have people that use lifts and can't do anything for them selfs. We have people in varies stages of alzhiemers.

Advice to Senior Management – get some back bone with these family members. If they are not suited for indenpendent living then tell them.. Stop letting the reidents tell you what to do. Do a better job whith a mix of religions. Stop bring people in that don't speak english.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
