Pros

This is a socially responsible firm that values its employees. The benefits package (time off, healthcare, 401k) is very comparable with other firms.

Cons

As it's a smaller firm, there's not a huge amount of latitude to grow.

    Pros

Access to senior Management and Partners. We are a private firm so we are somewhat insulated to layoffs. Treat thier employees extremely well. Internal training and tution reimbursement is superior. Overtime pay is great for all positions below assosiate

    Cons

Very Conservative, somewhat slow moving. You have to put in your time if you want to advance within the company, and you have to work with the firm for at least a year before you can transfer to another department. Promotions are often slow coming. While benifets are great, salary is so-so.

    Pros

Salary is fair, bonuses are competitive

    Cons

Everything is very hush hush, lack of communication from middle management. Some departments do not recognize a work/life balance

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Emphasize a work/life balance, do not expect entry level employees to work 12 hour days, weekends, and holidays without extra compensation or recognition.
