I have been working at Brown Brothers Harriman

    Pros

Brown Brothers Harriman is a relatively small firm, so I want exposed to a wide variety of businesses and functions. For the intern who is proactive about networking, it can make a valuable professional experience

    Cons

Unfortunately BBH doesn't offer internships in some of the groups most coveted by college students ... investment banking, private equity. Many of the internships are back office roles and interns feel as if they don't get a "real finance experience" and that their managers didn't quite know what to do with them.
