Pros

The employee discount, friendly customers, cheap products, fair pay, I liked the job around Christmas time, offered plenty of hours

Cons

My manager did not follow the rules, my manager made inappropriate jokes and comments at work, my manager was not willing to be flexible with my school schedule

Advice to Management

Check in more often on the managers, offer raises more often when employees succeed, let employees know when they do something right so they can continue to do so.

    Pros

Pay is competitive, benefits are pretty standard. Most management seems pro family and believes in work/life balance. On-site gym and cafeteria are nice to have in expensive Clayton.

    Cons

Weird culture. Lots of cliques and people that have been there in the same position entirely too long, resulting in kingdom building that inhibits innovation. No solid leadership in most divisions, management seems to come mainly from within and doesn't appear to be very well "grown" into the position. If you like structured environments and continuity, this is not the place for you

    Advice to Management

Develop leaders, set standards and enforce them. Don't focus so much on silly things, develop the business and mentor your department managers, they need it
