Pros

They tend to be flexible. You can meet some nice people who may become your friends. It can be a fun place to work under good circumstances.

Cons

The management is terrible. No one ever agrees and most of them don't care about what is going on. The managers don't know how to do their jobs and leave it to subordinates to do everything for them. They also fail at communicating with employees. They all expect you to follow policy but rarely follow through unless they want a reason to fire someone but they ignore when their favorite employees break the rules. Brunswick Zone does not treat their employees with respect and that is why their turnover rate is so high.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire better management.

    Pros

Great benefits for management including discounts on bowling and equipment. Overtime opportunities for hourly employees and lots of incentives including trips and money based on performance.

    Cons

Tended to be a "Good ol' boys club" in upper management so females had a hard time breaking the glass ceiling. A higher turn-over with some of the hourly employees including snack bar and lane assistants.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire women that are equally as talented and qualified as the men.
