Subject Area Coordinator (Program Chair) (Current Employee) Parma, OH

ProsGives you a foot in the door if you are trying to break into the academic teaching arena.

Consvery low pay, extermely high benifits package ($1100/mo for family coverage), lack of focus, lack of organization, lack of academic rigor. Instructors even adjuncts are made to attend meetings with no focus, same dead topics and no resolutions.

Advice to Senior Managementsenior management should be re-vamped. You would not survive at a real college.
