It's a decent job, but there's always a glass ceiling.

Gallatin, TN

Current Employee – been working at Buffalo Wild Wings

ProsFun, relaxed environment, if you can get along well with sports lovers and drinkers, you'll be fine. The earnings potential is good, especially during big sporting events.

ConsMost restaurants aren't as bad as the one I worked at. Management usually had a very elitist attitude when dealing with guest complaints. Very inconsistent with employees, some would be favored over others, due mainly to seniority. Also, the training regimen is very very poor. Cram 2 weeks worth of training into about 3-4 (at most 7) days. There are steps being taken to right the ship, but those steps may be too late.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease, please, please take an active interest in the guests needs and wants! Allow adjustment of pricing based on demographic and competing restaurants. Stop worrying so much about the bottom line of the company, and worry more about what made BWW great to begin with. Affordable food and beer and sports. And please take a more active role in helping the stores that are low volume. I really did enjoy my time at this company and want the best for it, but things have to change.
