Pros

Benefits and work environment are good. Coding jobs are all the same these days but selection of types of technologies are the key and CA has diverse teams of people working for them and a big portfolio of products. We were acquired back in 1998 so we are part of a larger group that has helped CA grow it's revenue stream

Cons

Salaries are low and chance for advancement not good. Location is great in San Francisco, but hard to get to.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your employees and provide better communication vehicles. It might also help to be more specfic about the goals of the company. We don't have a vision of where the disparate parts of the company are proceeding.
