I have been working at CA Technologies full-time

Pros – They have shown excellent commitment to the Indian operations so far which is a plus.

Cons – Strategic roles (Product Management, Technical Sales, Services) are yet to establish themselves in the India Development Center. It creates a co-ordination and learning gap.

Advice to Senior Management – There seems to be a lack of varied job roles (its mostly development) in their India operations here which essentially creates a communication drift among their teams. Even India sales works elsewhere and is disconnected. The company's success will need all global teams knowing each other in an atmosphere of growing mutual trust. They are working on it, but it might need a strategic rethink.
