I have been working at CACI (UK)

Pros

Good working conditions. Excellent salary and benefits package. All the employees get on really well and there isn't much of the corporate ideal stuff that you get at a lot of other companies

Cons

Lack of training and company keeps buying smaller companies without a lot of apparent benefits to the overall business,

I worked at CACI (UK) full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Job security- unlikely to be shifted from your position, unless something drastic happens
Working hours- 9.30 A.M starts...which is always handy for most....hours are decent provided you're not overloaded with work in your own role.
People- There are some nice people there....so you could potentially make good friends if you mix with the right circles

    Cons

Poor company structure- Difficult to get things done or information out of people, because the communication is so poor/ non-existant. Horrendous admin policy.....documents etc seem to go missing...no proper internal systems in place
Sales Orientated- Unless you're a salesperson...you're a nobody there. The managers seem to think that Sales is the only function a business needs to survive. The culture is quite ignorant amongst many sales staff due to being spoon fed by people around them. The CEO has embedded this culture.
Lack of career progression- Company never really did appraisals in my time there....so this speaks volumes as to how people are perceived there.
Lack of team work-Senior managers only reallly care about themselves...and their bonus package....not about how their team/people are doing or whether goals and objectives are being met
Lack of Technology- for a technology driven company like CACI...the internal resources are very poor....with literally the vare minimum in place to support staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to respect all levels of the business...not just Sales. Recognise people for thier actual work and value to the business...rather than their political status there.
Aquisitions- If you're going to buy companies...make sure you have resources in place to cope with this
Hire internal Auditors- fix the bottlenecks within the structure of the company...or else you will remain dis-organised
Encourage internal promotions from within...people who know the business are going to be a lot more valuable in managerial positions
Allocation of funds- Stop wasting money on pointless ventures...and then moaning about "not having any money"....your staff are not living under a rock....the company is very prosperous and has been for years on end. Its un-ethical to make redundancies or not give pay rises for years....and then spend money on a new kitchen!...or to have your staff fly business class...when people are struggling to make ends meet in this economy.

If you do all this...it may fix the HIGH labour turnover the business has experienced in the last 3 years

Things are done the hard way on purpose. The environment is backstabbing and negative in nature.

I have been working at CACI (UK)

    Pros

Because of complexity of the work, good learning experiences are present.

    Cons

Terrible working environment with very little good job recognition and way too much very negative and often needless criticism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus less on knit picking at work and more on creating an efficient and positive working environment.
