I have been working at CBC Companies

Pros

No sales goals, great products, flexibility, they allow you to run your business, price does not get in the way of negotiations, sales support, life work balance, and mileage reimbursement.

Cons

No bonus or commission, name recognition, marketing plan, and training.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sales managers must know better what is going on when a new hire comes on board. There is no game plan to help build territory. They think its easy to sell to banks and credit unions. This is not a one call close product, it takes time to build trust and relationships with C-Level Decision Makers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    i will list it out:

Allow your employees to have some individuality.
    Promote diversity better.
Realize Smartphones are here to stay and stop chastising employees for using them (even though they are completing their work).
Drop the "we are so afraid of being sued" mentality, because that paranoia is felt throughout most of CBC.
Stop pointing out that the owners (the prices) are Christian, because religion aside it feels like you'd be shamed if you are not a Christian (Oppressive culture).
Senior management suffers from a real bad case of Ageism (they treat younger employees like they are incompetent).
Stop giving mundane busy work just to make it appear that people are working (you'll spend anywhere from 10-20 hours a week doing nothing and the internet is locked down and your not allowed to use your phone).
Pay your employees better, so that the goods don't keep leaving.
Allow the company to actually grow.

There is a lot more, but i think the point is made.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
