    Pros

    Good name recognition, mostly good employees - can create a nice work environment, if you happen to work with or for certain people they can be a great mentor and create a supporting environment. If you don't happen to work for those certain people it can be a less inviting environment.

    Cons

    Very little support/praise/recognition for property management staff in general, its a largely thankless job and upper management does little to show hard work and effort put forward is recognized. Property Management offices can be small and disconnected from the main corporate office.

    Advice to Management

    Put in effort to make property management group feel like part of the overall team, don't make it a thankless job.

    Pros

    Great people, supportive management, highly influential name/reputation. True teamwork required on client accounts, changes are made if the need arises and are viewed with a strategic, long term view before enacting.

    Cons

    Too large in many respects yet still relies on tribal knowledge and politics to get things done. CBRE values/processes are trumped by client needs/wants, so cultural differences take a lot of time to untangle to get to the right solution.

    Advice to Management

    Follow through on the things you've been talking about the past two years especially related to talent management and succession planning. Reexamine the sales process to ensure cross-functional representation is accurately aligned with client expectations.
