High caliber professionals work there. Good benefits. Nice offices. Highly engaged staff. Stable. #1 in their industry in most markets. Highly respected by others. Good long-term planning. Some opportunities for growth and advancement. Fun.

Cons

salaries are not the highest. politics interfere with strategy and operations.

Spend more time on developing the staff.

    Pros

    All the projects that CBRE gets are first rated, the compensation they provided is great.

    Cons

    The time off policies are sometimes hard if you work with a client and there is NO one to take your place while you are on vacations.

    I have been working at CBRE full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Strong group of professionals, great sets of procedures available for you to follow, work life balance is encouraged. No micromanagement, you are allowed to perform to the beat of your abilities.

    Cons

    All needed Information is available, just difficult to find quickly or efficiently. IT support is hit or miss. Procedures are set in place to try and minimize the negative effect of poor managers, instead of eliminating poor mangers and enabling skilled managers. Salary is adequate but not enough to secure best talent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Work though IT call center seek highest performers and pay them to stay. Eliminate mediocrity, acceptable or ok performance should be encouraged out of the firm. Seek to set the highest standard not be standard...
