    I worked at CCP

    Pros

The company allows its employees to take independent initiative on many projects, and seems to value creative input from across all departments. The camaraderie and sense of family is truly amazing.

    Cons

Management wields the lack of formal corporate policy like a blunt instrument, threatening and punishing employees rather than chastising though regular channels. Employee compensation is extremely uneven across departments, and firings can occur with little warning and even less documentation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Knowledge may be power, but keeping information from your employees only serves to weaken the company. Transparency will certainly degrade as you grow, but you're doing very little to slow its loss.
