I worked at CDC (Georgia) as an intern for less than a year

ProsThey have a place for everyone; volunteering and real jobs. Supportive colleagues and interesting work.

ConsVery few jobs for people with a bachelor's degree; don't advertise jobs well.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf possible, be more accessible for college students and those who have recently graduated.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Don't expect to get promoted based on merit.

Research Fellow (Current Employee)
Atlanta, GA

I have been working at CDC (Georgia) full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Great networking opportunity. You get to work with world renowned… Cons: Dry, stressful, unfriendly environment. Senior scientists lack interpersonal and communicacion skills to *manage* others. FTEs work mostly from home, so it's contractors' responsibility to get… Advice to Senior Management: Having incompetent and abrasive scientists as supervisors results in decreased productivity and discourages young, talented professionals from pursuing a career at the CDC.… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
