Cons – had to use the internal CDI travel office to make business travel arrangments without input on schedule and vendors, and required to stay at hotels different from the project team member's hotels.
constantly changing hotels that were booked from week to week.
occassional lack of updates on contract renewal/extensions

Advice to Senior Management – keep in touch with contractors with occassional emails and provide ability for contractors to sign-up for an open jobs email broadcast. Allow contractors flexibility to book their own travel arrangements and to select hotels where other team members are staying.
