I worked at CDI as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They might get you a job quickly

    Cons

Expect NO real tangible or solid support for YOU as an employee. The benefits they offer are WAY too expensive. I was better off getting my own insurance and payed about $400 less PER MONTH! I was lucky if I got any feedback from them on a yearly basis. They are a meat market basically.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I had several 'managers' over the period of almost four years with CDI. None of them were really interested in what I was doing or offered and real assistance in any way. Just one time did they call me to tell me -I- screwed up when in fact it was because of the lame on-call scheduling being done. I'm as done as I can be with this company.

I worked at CDI full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Sometimes a job is better than no job.

    Cons

People are sometimes moved into roles for which they are not qualified. Many employees in my experience had little to no professional background, minimal skills, and only were able to make it because of the concerted efforts of *some* managers to bring them up to par or to cover for them. Environment could be very petty and high school-like due to low caliber of some employees, including some managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open to hiring externally for highly-skilled roles.
