Pros

The work is really interesting and unique. There are a lot of smart people, so you learn a lot very quickly. There is a lot to do and hard work is rewarded to some degree. Most of the people are very good to work with as well.

Cons

Processes can be overly complicated and there are a lot of details to learn. Politics can be rough at times.

Advice to Management

Listen more to what people want, and help foster a culture of connectedness.

Utilization is not everything. If you can win the work the numbers work out.

    Pros

    Sorry, not many. Good Benefits??

    Cons

TOO focused on Utilization, which isn't even reported correctly. Should focus more on how invaluable good, talented employees are and not how dispensable they are. Terrible work environment where employees are always looking over their shoulders waiting to be laidoff because THE NUMBERS say so. Transportaion Management is not held accountable for poor performance.......employees are fired instead.

    Advice to Management

Specifically the Transportation arm needs to realize that employees are more than just numbers, and that good, talented people are difficult to find. Showing loyalty to employees goes a long way. Laying off employees is not the answer. Being able to win work is the answer. Hold Transportaion Management accountable for not winning work. Stop allowing them to blame utilization numbers on employees who have no controll over that. WIN THE WORK. Appreciate the talent that you have left.

  2. Stress-free work environment, but limited ability for rapid career growth

    Pros

    Flexible work hours
Lots of client exposure if you are extrovert

    Cons

    Very rigid employee development program

    Advice to Management

Too many middle management employees who add little value. Ambitious young professionals leave after a couple years.
