It's the most uncomfortable place to work. Supervisors are terrible with people.

I worked at CEVA Logistics as a contractor (less than a year)

Pros

There aren't any pros I can think of because the experience was terrible.

Cons

The General Manager lets the supervisors run him.
The Supervisors doesn't have a clue on how to speak to staff and clients.
The Supervisors and employees really make it known that they don't want you to work in their surroundings. They make a lot of inappropriate comments during their conversations with one another and the GM does absolutely nothing.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of saying "that's just the way she is" he should make an example out of her and show other employees and clients that they don't have to be spoken to in a rude manner. There simply needs to be some sort of Professional development workshops that should be mandatory for this place!

    I have been working at CEVA Logistics full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    CEVA has some good points but a lot depends on the unit the position is in and whether or not it is FLSA exempt or non-exempt. Exempt positions are treated with more care and consideration than non-exempt positions. Great diversity.

    Cons

    Company bases bonus on FLSA exemptions so many don't qualify. Uses 5S. Office is "cubical" based with short dividers, co workers are placed across and beside. Very loud. The company is still working to establish an ethical culture, they have a ways to go yet.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Go to a pay for performance system to increase employee engagement. Review FLSA exemptions. Many are misclassified as exempt. Consider benchmarking salaries against competitors as many are currently below the market.
