1. flexible timings.
2. compensation

Cons

1. not good infrastrucutre compared to image of company.
2. HR policies are not stablized after taking over LOGICA.
3. new technologies are missing here, people are supporting legacy systems and applications.

    I worked at CGI Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Nice government contracts
    Picked up the juicy AMS contract for the WCB
    Challenging work

    Cons

    Salary is not competitive
    Inconsistent or no recognition for hard work
    Low chance of promotion even after achieving the supposedly unobtainable "Significantly Exceeds Expectations" member reviews over multiple consecutive years
    Managers sell technology they do not understand to clients
    Management consultants are underused leading to poorly planned projects
    Constant crunch time
    60-70 hour work weeks with no additional compensation is expected
    Toxic office culture

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop selling XRM projects to clients when a custom application is more appropriate. Listen to your architects! XRM technology is not meant to be customized so heavily it degrades performance to the point of being unusable.
    Fix your culture before you become more notorious as a "meat grinder" for IT resources rather than a successful consultancy firm.
