    I have been working at CGI Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    If you want to coast through your career without much opportunity for training or new technologies, this is the place to be.

    Cons

    - continue to use out-dated equipment unless you are a Director or higher, then you get the latest technology to do emails, PPT or check your retirement plan all day.
    - many layers of management, and many of these leaders do not understand technology; they are the old guard long disconnected from the trends that are happening in the Information Services arena.
    - staff positions where is it possible to measure performance, are not measured or held accountable (i.e. Directors and Sale Executives)
    - they still do not even have concept or measurement of utilization
    - it is a bad mix of acquired companies, all with various regional standards that do not need to comply with corporate standards
    - senior management often do not demonstrate the publicized values of the corporation

    Less managers would be good and have some accountabilty

    I have been working at CGI Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Good environnement to work (depend on the place you work)
    - Good first job

    Cons

    - Salary is non competitive and really low (need overtime to compensate on that)
    - They dont keep their employee.
    - Always have to form new employee so the service to the client is shitty.
    - Bonus to 1 Unit (GMA) that use the other unit (GIS) to their end. Gis never receive bonus or very rarely and low.
    - Dont have a rate life increase.
    - Manager always have a excuse for their 3%(maximum) increase.
    - Inept employee never get fired. (rarely)
    - People leave to other jobs and come back for better salary. (only way to get it done)
    - HR sucks at what they do. (Most of them)
    - Procedure take way to long to get done. (ex: 6 month and more to onrack a server in a datacenter)
    - And so on... i could continue but i need to go sleep

    Need a clean up.
